TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The “Agency” or “Konnex” refers to Konnex International Limited.
• The “Au pairs” or  “Candidate” refers to a person who is registered with Konnex International Limited; it’s agents or associates and whom Konnex have introduced to the Clients.
• The “Clients” or “Family” refers to a person; family or companies who engages Konnex International Ltd. to seek a suitable Candidate for an agreed fee and duration.

These terms and conditions shall apply to and govern all contracts and agreements between the Candidate and the agency.

The Candidate must inform the Agency immediately of any engagement of  services by any family introduced by the Agency; the contract should be signed and returned to the Agency. The Candidate should also inform the Agency of any re-engagement of services of any family that has been introduced to Candidate after the end of the initial contract.

All details of any family the Agency passed to Candidate are confidential and must remain and are treated as such. The Candidate might be liable for financial damages if information is passed to a third party without the consent or approval of the Agency.

The Agency will endeavour to provide/find another suitable family should in-case a host family disengages the au pair due to no fault of their own before the end of contract duration. Konnex is not liable or responsible for finding a new host family for an au pair should a family disengages the au pair due to gross misconduct of the Candidate or member of the Candidate’s family or friends. The au pair must give notice of ten to fourteen days to family and vice versa should both parties think it’s not working out and the Agency informed immediately. This also applies if Candidates decide to leave for any reasons not mentioned herein.

AGREEMENT

I have read, understood and accept the terms and conditions of business as specified above. I understand and accept that any family introduced to me by the Agency will be treated like my own family. I will notify the Agency of any engagement, re-engagement or disengagement of any family. I will not hold Konnex International limited liable for any loss, damage or injury caused to persons or property from any act or omission on the part of the family.

I will always give at least 14 days notice to the family and the agency should I decide to leave the family (for any reason) which Konnex International Limited, it’s associates or it’s agents have introduced to me. I understand and accepts that Konnex International Limited will hold me responsible for all the costs incurred by Konnex, it’s associates or agents if I fail to comply with this.
